Happy Spring 2024!

I took off 3 months from painting to recover from a medical setback during the winter. Thankfully, I am mending and getting my strength back.

So far in March, I started a new animal commission and began painting some new paintings planned for eventual showing in the Island Art Association here on Amelia Island. 

During my rest, I submitted two of may paintings to various international competitions and found out today that two of my still life paintings were voted in as one of the Top 100 finalists in the February 2024 PleinAir Salon Art Competition. There were 1120 paintings from 27 countries. Awards will be announced on March 28th. To be included is an honor, regardless.

I am looking forward to a continuing positive energy 2024 as a move forward to complete my new commission and other paintings that have been so patiently waiting. I will share these when finished!
